Country Music Awards 2020
Presented in Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia, the Golden Guitar Awards are the finale to the ten-day Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth. The Awards are a fast-paced concert showcasing the cream of Australian country music artists and the songs that have left their mark on the fans throughout the past 12 months.
Live Event Services designed and supplied live production elements including audio, lighting, vision, staging and crewing. Pre-production on the awards started back in October 2019, when Colin Baldwin and his team worked on lighting and set design, equipment specifications and pack lists, crew and sub-contract bookings, sourcing accommodation for over 30 people and working with Robert Elsworthy at Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre on venue logistics.

Soundcraft Vi3000 and Vi2000 digital mixing consoles
24 Digital wireless and IEM systems
Comprehensive list of wired mics and foldback speakers
Claypaky Mythos and Sharpy Plus, Martin Professional MAC Quantum Profile and Quantum Wash, ShowPRO Quad-18 LED Pars, 1.2kw Fresnels, 750w Source Four profiles, ACME CM600 and XA400 Pro, LED Sunstrips, Robert Juliat Cyrano follow spots, DF50 hazers. In control were a couple of MA Lighting International grandMA2 lite consoles.

This years LED screens included 200sqm of 4.8mm & 6mm indoor LED screen as the display for the country music awards show. Screen switch and composition was achieved through a Barco Event Master with a main and standby backup unit in place.
Content was built by Big Day Media, programmed to screens via main and backup PVP machines, with over 200 packages rolling throughout the evening.
